B.ed Correspondence

Teaching in India has gotten upgraded over the years. Gone are the days, when you only had an induction into the school and one could become a teacher. Today it is mandatory that a teacher is a certified as a B.Ed., before she can even enter the teaching arena. Earlier a Bachelor in Training for which the candidate had to be a graduate in any discipline was required. However this has changed over time.

In B.Ed. this certificate programme, teachers have to break their routine life to get the course done. And without it, it is not possible to move ahead, hence B.Ed. through distance education and correspondence is a boon to be getting to be a teacher.

The classroom course varies to a six-month course whereas the distance is a complete one-year. This course is offered in more than 120 institutes in India.
